Who wants gingerbread?? Yay! Unfortunately for you my hungry friends, these gingerbread peeps were rendered entirely in 3D for a Koodo print campaign by TAXI 2. Nothing edible about them! That said, building real looking food in 3D isn’t easy, so Mike’s mom baked us a tray of real cookies so we could study their texture. (Which we then ate.) Yay Mike’s mom!

Oh Tetra Pak cartons, is there nothing you can’t do? You make sure orange juice arrives on our tables as fresh as the day it was squeezed, and create a better world for our children at the same time? Yes. It’s true - as this short video we conceptualized, wrote, animated and produced attempts to explain.

PROJECT: OCAD-IMAGINATION IS EVERYTHING

We’re pretty hopped up about this short recruitment video we put together for the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD). Working with local design studio Soapbox, we combined live action, illustration, student artwork, motion graphics and stills, then backed it all up with a hype track from Phoenix. What can we say, we’re happy to do what we can for the next generation of brooding, temperamental artsy types. (Like most of us over here.)

When Tetra Pak’s head office saw the promo we did for French Rabbit last year, they wanted one for themselves. The mandate was to clearly highlight the environmental benefits of the packaging, especially the reduction in CO2 emissions. We’re pretty stoked on the clean lined typographic approach our designer took.

Who wouldn’t want to be the centre of the universe! Not being a religious icon, we figure this is as close as we’ll ever get.

Flat traced footage and glassy 3D enlivened this web spot for Yamaha. MELD took this project from needs assessment: the launch of a new product, through concept development and into production. Browse your IPod with your receiver’s remote, listen to your MP3s in hi-fi. We want one.

CLIENT: CORBY DISTILLERIES AND BOISSET
PROJECT: FRENCH RABBIT

MELD was approached by Corby distilleries to develop concept and content for a sales support piece for French Rabbit - vintage wine in a tetra pak container. Their mandate was to create a hip engaging piece that communicates the benifits of the new packaging for both consumers and the environment.
